Lodi Historical Society Events

The Lodi Historical Society has several events that are held each month.

Membership/Program meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Hutchins Street Square in the Senior Center. The meeting begins at 7:30 PM and light refreshments are served. Membership/Program meetings are not held in June, July, August, November and December, although there are many other events during these months. Program meetings are open to members of the Historical Society and their guests.

Program meetings present great opportunities to learn more about the history of Lodi and the surrounding area. It is also a great opportunity to meet fellow history buffs that know a great deal about various facets of Lodi History.

Meetings of the Board of Directors are held on the Second Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 7:30 PM and are held at the Hill House. They are open to all members of the Society.

The Annual Historical Society Garage Sale is held in May, at Hill House (826 South Church Street). All proceeds will benefit the Lodi Historical Society. Donations can be dropped off at the Hill House on Sundays between 1:00 and 4:00 pm. Don't forget one person's junk is another person's treasure!

The Annual Lodi Lake Picnic is held in June at Lodi Lake. A good time is guaranteed for all! A Silent Auction will be held begining at 5:30 PM. Bidding will close at 7:30 PM.

Ice Cream Social at the Hill House is held in July and is open to the public. It is always one of the hottest days of the Summer! Come join in the fun. The Hill House will be closed for tours during its normal hours of 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We'll have great toppings for your fabulous ice cream delight. What a wonderful way to beat the heat!
